Are there sat past papers?
There are now four sets of SATs past papers (2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019) that can be used to prepare for the 2022 SATs and 2023 SATs.

In 2022 the KS2 SATs will take place between Monday 9th May 2022 – Thursday 12th May 2022. Over this period pupils will sit 6 different tests, with English normally taking place at the beginning of the week and maths at the end.

When do Key Stage 1 SATs become non statutory?
Similarly, it was confirmed on 14 September 2017, that Key Stage 1 SATs will be made non-statutory (schools will be able to choose whether they want to take it) in 2023.
